Successful Completion of the Workshop on Rubrics for OBE Courses in the Department of EEE

We are glad to inform you that a workshop on Rubrics for OBE Courses in the Department of EEE organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) in collaboration with IQAC, Green University of Bangladesh was successfully arranged on 22 June 2023 (Thursday) at 3:00 PM in B-609, City Campus, Green University of Bangladesh. It was a warm, enriching and inspiring event for all the respected faculty members of EEE.

The objective of the workshop was to introduce the concepts of preparing rubrics for the assessment methods, KSA1 and KSA2. The workshop also introduced preparing course files for complex engineering problems along with the rubrics for evaluation.

At the very beginning of the program, the session chair, Dr  ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE and Director, CETL, GUB graced the event with his enriching welcome speech. In his speech, he highlighted the necessity of preparing rubrics for OBE assessment and also suggested the faculty members follow the rubrics while evaluating the assignments, projects, class performance, or presentations. Right after his speech, the keynote speaker of the workshop, Dr Ratil H Ashique, Associate Professor, EEE conducted a practical session on Rubrics for OBE Courses in the Department of EEE. All the faculty members of EEE participated in that session.

Finally, the session chair, Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE and Director, CETL, GUB ended the program with a vote of thanks to all the faculty members who attended the program and special thanks to the Keynote Speaker for conducting the workshop so nicely.
