Successful Webinar: “Charting Your Academic Journey: Exploring Higher Studies Opportunities in Australia”

The EEE Club, in collaboration with the Green University Center for International Affairs (GCiA), successfully hosted a webinar titled “Charting Your Academic Journey: Exploring Higher Studies Opportunities in Australia” on September 21, 2024, at 6:30 PM. This insightful session aimed to guide our students and alumni in navigating the prospects and pathways for higher studies in Australia.

Keynote Speaker
We were privileged to have Mr. Khan Rahmat Ullah, a Scientia PhD research scholar at UNSW Sydney, as our distinguished keynote speaker. His inspiring talk provided in-depth insights into the myriad of opportunities available for higher education in Australia. He shared valuable information regarding university applications, scholarship opportunities, and the overall academic environment, which was greatly appreciated by all attendees.

Event Leadership
The event was graced by Dr. Ahmed Al Mansur, Associate Professor in the Department of EEE and Director of GCiA, Green University of Bangladesh, who served as the Chief Guest. The session was adeptly chaired by Mr. M M Naushad Ali, Assistant Professor in the Department of EEE and Moderator of the GUB EEE Club, who skillfully guided the discussions throughout the webinar.

Alumni Engagement
One of the highlights of the event was the enthusiastic participation of several alumni from Green University of Bangladesh, who shared their valuable experiences with current students. The Q&A session that followed Mr. Rahmat Ullah’s presentation was particularly engaging, fostering a lively exchange of ideas and thoughtful questions from the audience. This interactive segment not only clarified various aspects of studying abroad but also sparked meaningful conversations about career prospects and personal development.
